Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the ROCO Indústria Metalplástica S.A. website and the ROCO Portal. By using the website, you state that you have read them and agree to them. We may change them, as described in the section on changes.

2. What the website is

The website presents ROCO, its products and its contact channels. It does not sell products and does not display prices. It offers a product catalog, quote requests, contact, catalog download and sales representative pre-registration.

3. Product information and images

Product descriptions, specifications and images are for illustration and may change without prior notice. For technical data and instructions for use, consult the technical documentation or contact the ROCO team.

4. Quote requests

A quote request made through the website is not a proposal, offer or contract. It creates a commitment only after written confirmation by ROCO, with the commercial terms set out in that confirmation.

Sending a list of products does not reserve stock.

5. Intellectual property

The ROCO brand, logos, texts, photos, images, videos and other website content are protected by intellectual property law and belong to ROCO or are used with authorization.

You may browse the website and print content for personal use or to evaluate a purchase. Copying, reproducing, modifying or redistributing the content for commercial purposes without written authorization is not allowed.

6. ROCO Portal

Access to the ROCO Portal depends on approval by the ROCO team. Your credentials are personal and non-transferable: you are responsible for the use of your account and must tell ROCO if you notice improper access.

Materials, products and images made available in the portal are for commercial use authorized by ROCO. ROCO may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

• Redistributing these materials to unauthorized third parties is not allowed.

7. Use by AI and automated systems

The public catalog may be accessed by automated systems, by the MCP server and by the llms.txt file, only with public product data. This use must respect the website's usage limits, and the following are not allowed:

• overloading the website or interfering with its operation;
• bypassing security measures, anti-bot checks or usage limits;
• using the content for unlawful purposes or to mislead consumers.

8. Third-party links

The website may contain links to third-party sites, such as the online catalog and social networks. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Liability

We take care to keep the website information accurate and up to date, but errors, unavailability or delays may occur.

To the extent permitted by law, ROCO is not liable for damages arising from use of the website, outdated information or failures outside its control. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the Consumer Protection Code (Lei 8.078/1990) grants to consumers.

10. Changes to the terms

We may change these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date. By continuing to use the website after a change, you agree to the new version.

11. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by Brazilian law, including the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework (Lei 12.965/2014). The courts of the district where ROCO's headquarters are located have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to consumer rights, which may be exercised in the court of the consumer's domicile, as the law provides.
