Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones we use on https://roco.com.br/ and how you can manage them.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information, such as your chosen language or a login session. We also use the browser's local storage (localStorage), which works in a similar way.

2. Categories

The website's cookies and storage fall into four categories:

  • Necessary: essential for the website and the ROCO Portal to work, such as the login session.
  • Preferences: remember choices such as language and the quote list.
  • Marketing and measurement: help us understand where contacts and campaigns come from, and display RD Station communications.
  • Security: protect forms and login against bots and abusive use.

3. Cookies and storage used by the website

This is the current list:

  • NEXT_LOCALE (preferences): stores the chosen language. Duration: 30 days.
  • roco_utm (marketing and measurement): stores the campaign parameters (UTM) of the visit that brought you to the website, to record where contacts come from. It contains no personal data. Duration: 30 days. Not accessible to page scripts (httpOnly).
  • ROCO Portal session (necessary): keeps you signed in. Set only for people who sign in, with a validity of up to 8 hours.
  • roco_cart_v1 (preferences, local storage): stores the list of products in your quote in your browser. It remains until you remove the items or clear the website data in your browser.
  • Cloudflare and Turnstile (security): help identify automated traffic and protect forms and login. Duration set by the provider.
  • RD Station (marketing and measurement): tracking script and pop-ups, with RD's own cookies. Duration set by the provider.

4. Third-party cookies

RD Station sets its own cookies when its tracking script and pop-ups load, including the WhatsApp button.

The home page video may come from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When you play it, YouTube may set cookies under its own policy.

Cloudflare and Turnstile may also set security cookies. These cookies are controlled by their respective providers.

5. How to manage them

You can accept, refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. Menus vary by browser.

To remove the quote list, use the quote page itself or clear the website data in your browser. For RD Station cookies, see RD's own privacy options.

6. What happens if you block them

Blocking necessary cookies may prevent signing in to the ROCO Portal and submitting forms protected by anti-bot verification.

Blocking preference cookies means the website will forget your language and quote list.

Blocking marketing and measurement cookies does not affect how you use the website, but campaign origins will no longer be recorded.
